Based in Ramsbottom, Bury, Plentiful was established by Abbie in 2018 as the first plastic-free shop in the North West. Initially named Fulfilled, it was a small shop in a converted terraced house, offering loose foods and pioneering eco-friendly products like bamboo toothbrushes and metal straws.
Abbie's mission was to give the local community the option to purchase organic vegetables, buy food without unnecessary packaging, and support small, tested businesses. With her background in environmental charity work, it was essential for the store to have a net positive impact on the planet.
Plentiful grew rapidly, gaining significant news coverage and community support across Bury, Rossendale, and beyond. The success led to a Crowdfunder campaign, supported by hundreds of locals and customers, allowing the move to a larger store. Now, Plentiful offers a comprehensive range of organic fruits and vegetables, a refill shop, and a wholefoods store both in Ramsbottom and online.
Customers can have local, organic produce delivered directly to their doors, with fresh products from British farms available as often as needed. Each order is carefully picked, packed, and delivered by the dedicated team at Plentiful. Check delivery availability via the account icon on our website.
With a strong commitment to sustainability and community, Plentiful continues to provide eco-conscious shopping options while supporting local agriculture and businesses.
