Charleton Farm has long been cherished by the Angus community and has recently opened its doors to visitors from further afield, who have been delighted to discover the hospitality and variety of activities on offer, making it well worth the journey. Since March 2021, new owners Graeme and Lisa McColl have taken over and continued to make the farm a friendly and engaging place to visit regardless of the season.
At Charleton Farm, the main services—Eat, Pick, Play, Shop, Stay, Celebrate—are easily accessible via the tabs at the top of the site. Here, visitors can also bring their dogs, with outdoor courtyard tables and select indoor tables set aside for those accompanied by their canine friends. Dogs are also welcome to join their owners for fruit picking, although they are not allowed in the children's play area.
The farm is also home to Kune-Kune pigs, always ready to greet visitors, and you might even be lucky enough to see adorable piglets scampering around. The dedication to an engaging visitor experience extends to every corner of the farm.
For those passionate about food, Charleton Farm does not disappoint. From growing fruit to serving fantastic meals, the farm is enthusiastic about delivering quality. Visitors are encouraged to explore the Pick section to learn more about the crops grown. Additionally, expect delicious specials on each visit and seasonal events where the kitchen team showcases their culinary creativity with sophisticated evening menus.
From regular BBQs to hog-roasts, Charleton Farm always has something extra-tasty on the calendar, including their famous oversized Strawberry tarts during the local growing season.
Members of the Brit-Stop scheme can enjoy staying overnight at the farm. Early contact is recommended for planning your visit, and you’re always welcome to join for breakfast. Please note that while some independent blogs and guides may list our farm as a motorhome or camping stop, we may not always accept campervans and motorhomes that are not current Brit-Stop members.
