Cakes by Zoe started purely as a hobby making birthday cakes for her son although he is now a teenager! Zoe had always had an interest in arts an crafts and had worked within the catering industry while studying at college.
After years of working in a catering or office background and bringing up her son she put her skills to use after many friends saying she should try making cakes as a business, and Cakes by Zoe formed. After 8 years of being open as a business, she now has the opportunity to put her creative skills to use in making special creations for all different types of celebrations and events.
Her passions are in all sugar craft but more so in sugar flowers, carved cakes and wedding cakes. She loves to be able to create something quirky and unique. Cakes by Zoe was a runner up in the wedding industry awards for 2021. Zoe has also started to teach a small number of classes locally as well.
